Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 days from the receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons or pay any penalties.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision before the 14-day period expires, by email to contact@theyiddishclub.com, specifying:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your order number
  • The delivery address
  • The products concerned

You will then need to return the products to us, in their original packaging, unused and in perfect condition, within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer. We recommend choosing a shipping method with tracking: any parcel lost during return remains the Customer's responsibility until it reaches us.

Return address

Returns must be sent to the address that will be provided to you by email after your withdrawal request.

Refund

After receipt and inspection of the returned products, we will refund the full amount paid (products + initial standard delivery costs) within a maximum of 14 days, using the same payment method as the one used for the order, unless otherwise agreed with you.

Exclusions from the right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:

  • Foodstuffs and grocery products
  • Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
  • Goods unsealed by the Customer after delivery that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection
  • Goods made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized

Defective or non-compliant product

If you receive a defective, damaged or non-compliant product, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at contact@theyiddishclub.com, attaching photographs of the product and packaging. We will offer you a replacement, credit note or refund, in accordance with the legal warranties (2-year warranty of conformity and warranty against hidden defects).

In this case, return shipping costs are at our expense.

Legal warranties

Regardless of the right of withdrawal, products benefit from:

  • The legal warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), for 2 years from delivery of the goods
  • The warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), for 2 years from the discovery of the defect
